Bayba is the kind of raunchy comic book adventure which doesn’t really have an English equivalent, with the sex acts putting the graphic into graphic novel. All the male characters are depicted as having the heads of pigs, making it pretty obvious where artist Baldazzini’s sympathies lie in this (im)moral tale, but there is much to enjoy in this simple, stylishly drawn romp as Bayba finally begins to take control of her own destiny.
